Privacy policy

Who we are

StockXpress (https://stockmaketanalyzer-frontend.vercel.app) is a stock market analytics website: quotes, charts, screeners, portfolio tools and AI-written summaries. StockXpress is run by Manuscript Technomedia LLP, India; "we" and "us" mean Manuscript Technomedia LLP, which decides how your personal data is used. What we collect

• Account details: your name and email address, and a password stored only as a bcrypt hash (we never see or store the password itself). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID from Google.
• Profile details you choose to add: phone number and postal address (both optional).
• What you create on the site: watchlists, portfolios and their transactions, price alerts and price-update emails, saved screens, backtests, AI analyses and reports (and any you choose to share by link), discussion posts, documents you upload to the AI playbook, and messages you send to the AI assistant.
• AI usage records: which AI feature you used and how much, so we can apply fair-use limits and track cost.
• Technical data: your IP address and request details in our server logs and for rate limiting and security; the country your connection comes from (reported by our hosting provider) so the site can open on the right market.

We do not collect payment details, government IDs, broker logins or your trading account balances. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking scripts, and we do not sell or rent personal data.

How we use it

• To run your account and the features you use (watchlists, portfolios, alerts, AI answers).
• To send the emails you ask for: sign-up codes, password resets, price alerts and price-update emails.
• To keep the service safe and working: preventing abuse, rate limiting, fixing errors.
• To answer you when you contact us.

AI features

When you use an AI feature, your question and the market data it needs are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic, or Google Gemini) to write the answer. We send what the answer needs, not your password or contact details. AI output can be wrong and is for information only.

Service providers

We use these companies to run the service. They process data only on our behalf:

• Vercel (website hosting) and Render (application servers).
• MongoDB Atlas (database), Upstash (short-term cache) and Amazon Web Services S3 (file storage).
• Google (Sign in with Google, and Google Workspace for sending email).
• Anthropic and Google (AI features, as described above).
• Market data providers (for example Upstox and Finnhub) receive only the stock symbols we ask about, never your personal data.
• Meta (Instagram and Facebook): we publish our own marketing posts there. We do not offer Facebook or Instagram sign-in and do not collect data from your Facebook or Instagram account.

Cookies and browser storage

• A country cookie (kept for 24 hours) so the site opens on your market, and a short-lived cookie used only during Sign in with Google.
• Local storage in your browser for your sign-in session and preferences such as language, theme, layout and recent searches. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings; you will then be signed out.

How long we keep data

• Account data and what you create: until you delete it or ask us to delete your account.
• AI assistant chat: cleared at the daily reset (working notes within 3 days).
• Documents uploaded to the AI playbook: deleted automatically after 7 days.
• Unfinished sign-ups: deleted automatically when the sign-up code expires.
• Server logs and backups: kept for a limited time and then overwritten.

Your choices and rights

You can see and correct your details on your Profile page, and delete watchlists, portfolios, alerts, saved screens, AI history and chat history yourself. Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the EU and UK GDPR), you can also ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or object to how we use it. Security

All traffic uses HTTPS, passwords are hashed, files in storage are encrypted at rest and service keys stay on our servers. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

Children

StockXpress is meant for adults (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you think a child has an account, email manuscriptweb@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this page when what we collect or how we use it changes, and change the date at the top. Important changes are announced on the site or by email.
